When I am not travelling...
... you find me in Hanover (the capital city of Lower Saxony, Germany).
I rent a nice city-apartment in a calm & green, yet central, district together with my husband.
Since I am a language-teacher for German language, multilingualism and language learning are an integral part of my everyday-life. Furthermore I love to be outside, either on my bike or while horse-riding, like to swim, spend time with friends and family or relax with a good book in the park.
What I dislike the most is: boredom (that's why I always try to make new experiences).

When I am travelling...
...you find me preferably in places, that are not too touristy and offer a good mix of nature and culture.
The most interesting for me are always the language and food (all that the vegetarian cuisine offers).
In the last years I have often stayed with host-families all over the world or did voluntary services. I was always delighted, when I could spend my time abroad not only with dear new friends but also with animals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As everyone else here (I suppose), I love to travel!
I hope that couchsurfing helps me to meet new people, get insights of different countries, cities, languages and turns my journeys from normal holiday into something very unique and special.
