I'm Franzy, 27 years old and a german-speaking Italian girl from South Tyrol (northern part of Italy).
In 2016 I've travelled once around the world, visited a lot of beautiful countries and got to know some of the most amazing people - many of them through couchsurfing.
After coming back home to Italy I started working as a Group- and Event Manager in an international Hotel...however I still try to travel and visit new places as often as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my opinion Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new amazing people, get to know their background stories and learn to see the world through their eyes and perspectives. When talking and interacting with locals or other travelers you have the possibility to discover more than just the location itself. Additionally, Couchsurfing can be the starting point of many multicultural friendships!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While traveling through Thailand I spent a day at the Elephants Nature park in Kanchanaburi. The people working in this park rescue mistreated elephants who can then spend the rest or their lifes there - surrounded by other elephants and without having to work for tourists anymore!
Volunteers are welcome to prepare food, feed them, swim together with the elephants, etc...It was for sure one of the best days in my life!!
