About Me

Ciao,

I'm Franzi and was doing my Erasmus semester in Padova and now travel in my free time through Italy.
I study electrical engineering in Dresden, Germany and I'm looking forward to an eventful summer. In my free time I love to go for a nice hike, rock climbing, bike travels and cooking and eating delicious food. When the weather is good I also like to sleep outside in a tent, hammock or just on the mat.

I planned my vacation in a way to find places to volunteer in agriculture (WWOOF) leaving in between some time to visit Rome. :)

Cari saluti!

P.S.: Since I'm still travelling in Italy until October I cannot host someone during this time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Usually I don't need much luxury and am happy to have a cozy place to roll out my sleeping mat. When I could combine having somewhere to sleep in interesting places and getting to meet friendly people at the same time that's a win-win! If you would be motivated to tell me about your favourite places within your city I would be even more excited about it :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly listening to Alternative Rock, I am open to many new influences and started listening to Italian popular music (gladly receiving recommendations as well :D) because I love the melody of this language!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving near Prague, Climbing in the Alps, Collecting mushrooms in the woods and surviving the following risotto

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you knitting and how to carve useful items out of wood. Ultimately you could learn a very interesting German card game called "Skat" (similar to Briscola but more strategic)!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Let's go and play some board games
