About Me

I find it hard to fill in this information which probably already says a lot about me ;)
If I have learned anything at university it is that identities are fluid, so what I say about me now may not be true in one year. What I can say is that I am friendly, curious and enthusiastic about a lot of things and that i am trying my best to be a kind, loving person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am still sort of new to travelling adventures, but I want to see more of the world in a way that is cheap in financial terms and rich in human connections.

Music, Movies, and Books

music:

I am not too picky and love discovering new genres. If I could pick only one album to listen to for the rest of my life it would be Migration by Bonobo. I enjoy going out to techno music - the Institut für Zukunft in Leipzig, Germany is one of my favorite places on Earth ;)

movies:

Black Swan and La La Land are some of the movies I could watch over and over. I have a bad movie memory though and I have most likely forgotten about half of the amazing movies I've seen. I am not above a good old Harry Potter marathon, too. ;)

books:

I used to read lots of Stephen King growing up because my mum is a huge fan. One of my favorites is The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. I also devour all sorts of spiritual self-help or nutrition related books, there is a high probability I will bring one to your place ;)

Some of my favorite "self-help" books are:

The Four Agreements - Don Miguel Ruiz
The Power of Now - Eckhart Tolle
Loving What Is - Byron Katie

In terms of nutrition "How Not To Die" by Dr. Michael Greger is my bible for evidence-based tipps on how to eat well and thrive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Realizing that everything I ever needed was with me all along.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a nutrition nerd and love to share fun facts about any food and health related topic. Did you know that there is a substance in cheese that acts similarly to morphines in the body? Chances are you really ARE addicted to cheese :D (casomorphin, google it).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I wanna say I am a pretty decent vegan chef and I love to cook for people :) I usually cook with loads of fresh ingredients so get ready to have your plates filled with delicious, vibrant vegetably goodness.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Hungary, Italy, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
