Hey there,
my name is Franziska, I am a 19 years old girl and guess what, I am also German. So, if you're sick of all the Germans in Australia, sorry, but I guess you have to exit my profile...;)

I guess I'm pretty easy-going, as I don't need much to be happy. Good company is enough; a nice spot, a good coffee and chill music will make it perfect.
I am really into exploring places, either nature or city, and cultures.

After finishing school, I wanted to see a bit of our beautiful world, so I moved to Australia for at least 6 months.
Together with a friend, I bought a car in Perth and we travelled all the way up to Darwin by ourselves. Then to Alice Springs to visit Uluru and to Cairns, where I was working for one month. By now, after 5 months, I arrived in Melbourne. Now, my plan is to settle a bit and get a job in Melbourne.
Jet, I haven't really got in touch with locals and I am missing this experience. So I hope I can combine my stay in Melbourne with the opportunity to get to stay with somebody who lives here.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

To me, couchsurfing means to be brave. I'm am trying to be open-minded really hard, but that's a state of mind and has to be learned - at least I have to learn it.
So basically, couchsurfing is my chance to improve - and to save money for new clothes. :D

Interessen

Next to school/university I try to find as much time as possible to pursue my hobbies.
I am especially ambitious when it comes to my dancing class and competitions. But you'll also get me interested in nearly everything else.
I am spending a lot of time on my volunteer work, where I run an association for children and young people with a lot of cool people. During that I try to hang around with my friends as often as possible.

Only recently, I found out that travelling does not only mean joy but also passion to me. I love preparing for new places and to just dive in cultures that are strange to me.

Yet, I haven't started studying or an apprenticeship but want to study physics when I return home.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Only one? Sorry, I cannot decide...
1) Successfully organising my year's prom for over 700 people with a fantastic team.
2) Driving my own car on the Great Alpine Road through a thunderstorm with good music and wonderful sights.
3) Strolling around in the gorges of Karijini NP, WA.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I am not feeling like somebody who can teach anybody a lot, still I'd love to share experiences and knowledge.
I think my biggest chance to do so, is to ask and beeing asked about my opinion, asked to help or just randomly beeing confronted with any situation.
