About Me

ABOUT ME

Hey everyone!!

After I finished school, I took a year off to travel through Austalia, Malaysia and Vanuatu, the island with the happiest people in the world. It was the best experience of my life! I learned a lot about myself and other cultures and I changed my mind completely.
I think this is the reason why travelling is the best thing to do and the most worthwhile thing to spend all of your money: when you return back home, you won't the same person any as you were before.

I do couchsurfing on almost every trip not just because it's much cheaper (otherwise it's not affordable to travel a lot as a student) but also because it's such a good possibility to meet different and great people, especially locals who can show you the best spots and the real spirit of a country.

Now that I'm back home I want to share my experience and make the same experience possible to others by hosting other people.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm doing my studies of occipational therapist at the moment. I did an internship in a hospital with quadriplegic people and I realized that all of us have to be so thankful for our health! We really should take the chance to see the world as long as we can.

Try to make the most of you life, try to make as many experiences as you can- even a bad experience can make you a better person! Try to learn from others, respect other creatures and try to make the world a better place!

If you ask me, treating animals bad is not less bad than mistreating human beings. For me it's unbelievalbe how perfectly people ignore the horrible condition in which animals have to live their whole lifes in factory farming.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If you ask me, travelling with less money is much more interesting than travelling with a lot of money because it's all about expectations. People who stay in a five stars hotel expect everything to be perfect and they complain about everything which is not. If you don't have much money, you will get to know more people for example by hitch hiking or couchsurfing. You don't expect anything and suddenly you are so thankful about everything you can get. Things which are usually normal for us like for example a warm bed can suddenly be something really special. If you don't plan a lot, you will make the best experiences by meeting nice people or adventures like sleeping on the beach.

Interests

The world can be such a beautiful place and I'm so thankful to be able to see so much of it!!!
I´m interested in many different cultures and getting to know many interesting and open-hearted people. That´s why I want to travel around the whole world ;)
I like people who have their own different attitude towards life- people who can teach something new, people who question our society and who believe in great things.

I like going out into nature. I think countrysides can be much more different than cities. Not that I don't like to see cities, but in nature you can feel life and the old old world instead of houses made by men's hands.

I like doing pretty much everything which is fun: painting, drinking good wine, listening to music, dancing (I do dancing since I am 4 years old), rock climbing, hiking, camping, hitch hiking, playing table games, table soccer, hanging out with friends, cutting other people's hair or just doing some crazy stuff...
