ABOUT ME

I like everything that is connected to environment/ nature and its protection. I guess this fact defines me, somehow, a little bit.But of course, that´s not all : I love to make new experiences and explore different sites of the world. I am interested in different people and cultures - see the differences and the common grounds.
And I also like just "ordinary social events" like going out, having a beer (or two :-) and have a good conversation with nice people. I rather prefer a calm evening than a excessive party

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At first I was a bit suspicious about the principle of couchsurfing but since I have been for a longer time abroad I can more and more understand the system of CS. I have met many great people and they were just very friendly and I understood that you can meet everywhere nice people you just have to be open-minded and friendly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed some times and had always met with amazing people. It opens up my mind enormously

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I can highly recommend "The Kite runner" and "A thousand splendid suns" (both books from Khaled Hosseini). Really good novels about life in Afghanistan.

Recently I have seen "Singing Revolution" - a great documentary about the estonians becoming an independent nation and what they experienced during their struggle for it.
Pursuit of happiness is a great movie as well.
Mostly I like movies with a deeper meaning and which make me think about their plot.

I took part in a bird migratory project in the Far East in Russia in 2012 and in 2013.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I know something about birds - I am no expert but I know at least more than the average and can tell you about it if you know. I always love to improve my language skills and I love to learn about different countries (their politics, history, culture, just everything!)
