About Me

Just another crazy Canuck traveling the world.

I try to enjoy the little things in life you never know where they will take you, I'm most happy in nature.

I love exploring mountains, rivers, waterfalls, none of it gets old to me. I mean how could it, this world is beautiful.

Back on CS after many years!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because it's the best way to meet people from around the world while traveling and experiencing their culture, food, and traditions.

I wouldn't do anything but Couchsurfing after learning about it.

Music, Movies, and Books

LORT is by far my favorite trilogy ever. I enjoy fantasy novels and movies that have good stories. So many movies these days come very short of my expectations but hey books are still awesome... haha

As for music I listen to a very broad variety of genres. The only genre in which I don't usually enjoy would be country. How ironic right, a Canadian who doesn't like country.. haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I attended the oldest canoe camp in North America (Camp Keewaydin) At this camp I was able to trip in cedar canvas canoes for 4-7 weeks at a time. Visiting the Hudson's Bay and many more lakes and rivers along the way.

I traveled and volunteered through Central America on my own without knowing any Spanish. I'd say that is pretty amazing.. :P

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share my experiences around a campfire surrounded by good people. I enjoy teaching people how to make dreamcatchers from cedar roots, learn new bird calls and ways to identify species. Basically, I am the type who is either learning or teaching.

So let's have some fun!
