ABOUT ME

I'm a professional musician (jazz sax player) from England and I'm living in London. I love the city and am out constantly in search of adventure, soaking it all up. Estoy aprendiendo Espanol tambien, practicar mucho! Love having fun in all its different forms. Soy muy positivo y feliz.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this programme as I want to get a real experience of Argentina where I'm travelling to from 15th December until Jan 11th. Hopefully I'll be able do my bit for any visitors to London on my return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet through this website although every time I've travelled before, the best experiences in those countries were with the locals. I think its a great idea and like the idea that we can trust each other. I don't believe the media hype that we should live in fear!

Interests

I play saxophone a lot. I read loads! I go running when I can find the time and I love having a couple of beers and getting in to discussions. Main interest is trying not to take my life too seriously

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music and I actively try to watch as much live music as poss. I've taken swing dancing lessons so I can enjoy the music I play even more. Love house music, go clubbing every so often.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a Camp America programme when I was a bit younger which was the best experience of my life so far. I worked with disadvantaged kids and visited New York regularly. The whole experience changed my outlook on the world for the better and gave me a thirst for challenging my own perceptions and trying new things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a primary school music teacher four days per week and have a masters in music so could potentially help with music theory/ history/ instrumental teaching. I'm keen to develop my skills in Spanish!
