I like anything wild, weird and inexplicable. Happy to put myself in an uncomfortable situation to see if i can learn anything new. The best experiences always lie off the beaten path. As much as I appreciate seeing the landmarks and tourist attractions this world has to offer, I'm equally interested in checking out your favorite bookstore or local pub.

Most of the traveling I do centers around music festivals (typically Metal/Rock). I also love checking out anything haunted/spooky or of bizarre historical importance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because there's no better guide than a local.

My hometown, Winnipeg, often gets a bad wrap. A lot of people will tell you it's boring and colder than Mars 6 months out of the year. Being a Winnipegger, I know that's not true. It's a city with a fascinating history, vibrant arts scene and plenty of hidden gems. I expect there are plenty of people in the world who feel the same way about their hometown, and I expect a lot of those people are Couchsurfers.
