ABOUT ME

Quitting my job on a yacht to go traveling again. I will end up back in the South of France in April / May to start work again. Until then the world is my oyster.

I like to think of myself as very laid back and casual and an easy person to get along with.

I have an adventurous spirit and am willing to give anything a go(at least once). I am hoping that by couch surfing through a few countries I will have the oppertunity to meet some of the real locals and maybe one day I can return the favour to anyone exploring NZ!

I try to be a traveler instead of a tourist..

I'm a non smoker..

PHILOSOPHY

I used to travel for work, now I work to travel!

I like to think of myself as a spontaneous adventurists, and if I live like this then I can only be happy :)

Without expectations there can be no disappointment!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

2011 I CS through Europe and had a great time, met some great and likeminded people. I hosted some CS in Auckland / NZ at the begining of 2012, but left NZ and found work in South of France. Because of this I did not had much to do with CS for the next 8 months. I hit the road again in Jan 13 for 4 months and so got back amongst the CS and built on my experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- Laura, Tallinn, Estonia: Made pizza, drank beer and played the crazy game "the good the bad and the munchkin". Very generous and pleasant host.

- Nele, Tallinn, Estonia: Nele hosted me onboard the ferry 'Victoria' for a party weekend between Tallinn and Stockholm! awesome times!

- Biaba, Riga, Latvia: Partied until sinrise, shared some hot wine to escape the rain and celebrated Latvian Independence Day together!

- Laura, Berlin, Germany: I really wish I could have stayed for longer. I feel I didn't get enough time to get to know Laura. From the short time we spent together, she is kind generous and trusting, the perfect attributes for a CS host. Hopefully we cross paths again!

- Candace, Seoul, South Korea: Seoul has a special place in my heart, thanks for helping me experience this great city again. Korean BBQ you rock my world!
