About Me

Hi!

I was born in London, and have lived there most of my life, so I thrive off city life. But my family are all from Scotland, and my granny lives on a small island there so I also need my time in the hills and the heather.

I am a passionate person - I care a lot about the work that I do, but also about the state of the world that we live in. I'm involved in lots of campaigns around issues of social justice.

I love to have fun - to go out dancing, to explore, to sing bad karaoke, to meet new people. I am a very open and outgoing person with quite the sense for adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new(ish) to couchsurfing. I travelled across the USA last year with my friend, and we surfed in a few of the cities we went to on our travels. We had a really great time, and I was so amazed at the insight you get to a place by staying with people who are from there.

I think that it can be really hard to travel if, like me, you are a poor student, or not a high earner. But it can also be hard to be in a new place on your own. In my mind couchsurfing solves both of those problems, and creates such an amazing sense of community!

Teach, Learn, Share

My work is understanding people - so just meeting lots of new people and hearing about their lives teaches me so much.

Keen to share a beer, a joke, a laugh!

Always keen to learn about new places, the sights, the people, and the politics.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a PhD student in psychology - so got a lot of knowledge to share about mental health and the mind which I am always keen to share!

I am pretty good at cooking - keen to cook for any hosts.
