ABOUT ME

I am an American who grew up vagabonding around the United States whenever the opportunity presented itself. At present, I work as the Artistic Coordinator for the Warlukurlangu Aboriginal Art Centre in YuendumuNT, Australia, a remote Aboriginal community. I love my life in the outback, and I am working to see as much of the world as I can. I am a firm believer in travel as a way to improve the world and human life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just starting to get involved in meeting people through CS, I live and work in Yuendumu, NT Australia where housing is scarce, and as a wayward destination (about 300km/s northwest of Alice Springs) the easiest way to meet people is to stand by the entrance of the shop! I will be surfing more than hosting for now, but am always happy to meet another CS face!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to CS, but it has helped many of my friends explore the world or make new friends in cities that they have moved to. I hope to meet new people and see new places with CS as a kind guide.

Interests

I love to work on art in a variety of media. I pursue sculpture and photography most, but I also draw, paint, engrave and work on video and mixed media projects. I am a keen reader, hiker, guitar player, motorcyclist and lover of the outdoors!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked through Yellowstone National Park in January using equipment that I sewed myself and living in a Yurt that I
constructed with a few of my friends. It was a beautiful and great trip, and
all the gear survived the -40degree weather!
