ABOUT ME

I like (in no particular order): smiling, taking photos, my family, dark chocolate, summer, red shoes, travelling, Mum's fresh bread for breakfast, bushwalking, St Kilda Football Club, being tickled, funny jokes, fresh, sweet and juicy strawberries, adventures, lifeguarding at Brunswick Baths, uni (fourth year Occupational Therapy at La Trobe University, Melbourne), cheering people up, getting letters in the mail, laughing so hard my stomach hurts, funky stockings, good movies, books which enthral you so much you completely miss what's going on in the real world, lemon gelati, staying up late talking to an old friend, colourful nailpolish, kicking the footy with my Dad, being snugglely and warm under my doona while there's a thunderstorm going on outside, camping, feeling appreciated, hugs, jumping into water (off the edge of the pool, off rocks in the middle of the river, off diving boards or off jetties), the colour purple, good proper deep and meaningfuls, the beach, feeling excited, dressing up, the colours sunsets make in the sky, feeling proud of a job well done, my friends, acting on stage, dancing madly around my bedroom and singing at the top of my voice, imagining, rainbows, elephants, happy songs, crisp, sweet and juicy apples, strawberry chap stick, and sleeping in until the afternoon. Plus a few other things too...

PHILOSOPHY

Try everything once. (Within reason.)
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just starting out on the Couch Surfing expereince, after hearing rave reviews from a few friends. I'm hoping to meet some great people and see another side of travelling from just being a "tourist".

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far! Except having friends stay over, but that's a bit different... I'm looking forward to having so many great experiences that I won't know which story to put in this section!!

Teach: how to knit! (But only the basics...) Err... about Australian Football! Or... ummm... about ME!
Learn: lots and lots and lots about lots and lots and lots! I'm pretty intersted in most things, as long as the person teaching me is interested in them too!
