ABOUT ME
Hej hej :) I'm a Math's student from Vienna/Austria and last semester I was an exchange student in Lund/Sweden. There I figured out that travelling is a wonderful hobby where you not only get to see beautiful places, buildings, nature and so on but also meet people and get the chance to make friends all over the world.
PHILOSOPHY
There is one sentence about life which I have read some years ago and I can only totally agree with that:
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
And my motto for travelling:
"The Earth is like a thick book. If you don't start travelling, you'll only see the first page."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately, right now I can't offer a couch (but this will change in the next year (-: ). But everyone who comes to this beautiful city Vienna is very welcomed to join me for a coffee, a walk in the city and many many other activities! ;-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm a new member, so I don't have any CouchSurfing experiences right now - but I'm looking forward to a lot of great experiences in the future =)
Interests
I love doing sports - for a long time I have been a member of a TeamGym-Team from Austria; right now I started playing Tennis again. But I also like to go skating, skiing&snowboarding, ice skating, dancing and to play badminton and tabletennis.
If I'm not studying or training, then I like to go out with my friends or enjoy a relaxing day out in the nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
For me, one of the most important aspects of a song are the lyrics. Therefore I like songs which e.g. reflect my current situation, touch my heart, etc.
I like reading (especially when I have to travel with Vienna's public transport or when I'm on a train); I love crimes and everything that's thrilling and that arrests my attention!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That was DEFINITELY... seeing the northern lights far up north in Lapland/Sweden! I've never seen anything like that before and we didn't even expect to see them in the first night of our trip - so it wasn't only amazing and breath-taking, it was surprising as well!
But there are some amazing things I definitely want to do in my life; e.g. skydiving :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone can share all different kind of experiences. One example: When I plan to go to another country for a longer period, I don't read lots of travel guides - I speak to friends (or sometimes also strangers) who either come from this country or live in this country!
