Overview
About Me
Globetrotter wannabe, born in China, grew up in Canada, studied for a while in Germany, now finally graduated and just came back from visiting friends and travelling in northern Europe. Right now I'm trying to get my hands dirty with solving a problem in the form of starting a business.
I'm very curious about new things and sometimes can have too many interests :P but I love photography involving people, telling a story, and the technical bits. The curiosity makes me a huge geek sometimes, lets me talk with all kinds of people, and it's pretty awesome.
In my spare time I love to have tea with friends, go for a bike ride, hike a mountain, then dinner by the ocean or walking around aimlessly in hopes of getting lost and finding something new. Or focus 110% working on a side project.
I lived in Victoria for 5 years and know a lot of the local fun things to do, cool cafes and restaurants, beautiful hikes and beaches, etc. Can make recommendations for couchsurfers, and when time permits, I can also drive you around and do some fun stuff together :)
### When you request to stay, please introduce yourself and the things you like to do. "Hey there, can I stay with you?" is very boring. I love to host like-minded couchsurfers, not interested in hosting people only looking for a free last-minute bed ###
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to experience cities the way locals experience it, keen on being a part of the culture, meet people, make friends, share stories. It's also pretty fun to pretend to be a tourist in my own city and show people around.
I think it's essential for people to be exposed to others very different from them, get a different perspective, learn about new experiences, etc.
Interests
#1 is photography, then nerdy things, motorcycles, getting lost in nature and in foreign cities on purpose.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently camped out at Trolltunga, Norway, hoping to get an awesome picture of the tongue under the milky way. But then the northern lights decided to crash the party ;) whoa
Teach, Learn, Share
Give me wifi and two minutes, then I can make you the most delicious meal that rivals Noma. It's like the Matrix ;)
