I teach at a local university (my college faculty profile: http://www.fau.edu/scms/fejes.php ) . I live near downtown Fort Lauderdale and am close to the beach and airport. I have a town home and a comfortable couch in my office/study. Separate bathroom (although you would have to use my shower)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some of my students had really good experiences with it and suggested that, given my location, I offer as a host. Because of my schedule I can only offer for 1-2 nights for 1-2 people.

Very broad set of interests from political economy to Zen Buddhism, from Bach to Shatta Wale. A wide reader from current events, philosophy , the Middle East , social issues, etc.right now reading about civil war, the white lower middle class and a novel on gay life in the 1980s.
