About Me

I am a cyclist and backpacker as well as a medical student.
I have cycled around Taiwan for twice and recently travelled in China with bikes for 18 days.
I have been to Japan for backpacking for seven days.
Love to make friends with people from all over the world.
Have participated in many international programs, such as serving as international volunteer in Nepal and South Africa and the contact person of exchange students from Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In college, I heard a backpacker sharing the couchsurfing experience in the lecture. That was my first time to realize that there was such a kind of way of travel. After that, I started to learn how to become a couchsurfing, hoping that this will really come true.

Interests

I like exercise a lot. Almost 60 percents of my lives are spent on it. Also, I love to have cultural exchange, meeting anyone from different jobs and countries. Last but not least, I love to eat. I am always searching for food. I will even set food as one of the main purpose while travelling. I have courage to taste any kind of exotic in order to find the best one.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love American pop music very much. Maroon 5, Train and OneRepublic are my favorite musical bands; Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat and Rachel Platten are my favoite singers

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In July, 2017, I just finished my cycling adventure for 18 days in China. I rode from the eastern coast and followed the longest river in China. Passing over 1000 km and weathering through the burning sunlight, I finally reached my destination, Wuhan City. Although I had severe acute enteritis cause by bacteria and sent to the emergency at midnight. I still loved this journey. It makes me experience how hospitable they are and discard my original bias about China. This journey didn't extinguish my desire of cycling and travelling but magnify it. I cannot wait for my next unknown excursion in the corner of this amazing world.
