Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Expanding my global network!
ABOUT ME
My friends would say that I am: Friendly, hospitable, free spirited, helpful, she loves to cook, and she is VERY talkative!
I would concur :)
I am an urban nomad/cross culture kid and more specifically, an Afropolitan, who happens to live in the US now.
PHILOSOPHY
You'll be surprised how far $50 will take you!
(I used to say $20 but inflation and the economy made me revise it)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Looking forward to hosting folks because I always find interesting things about people!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have never officially partcipated in CouchSurfing but I do it all the time with friends and family! I have slept on couches, in spare bedrooms and I have also slept in other people's rooms, particularly when the parents convert the kid's bedroom into an impromptu guest room :(
Interests
Hanging out with friends, hosting dinners, and of course, traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love sappy romance movies. Okay, but I balance it out with some great dramas and psychological thriller.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have met Eli Weisel and Maya Angelou. I have seen them talk in addition to Bishop Desmond Tutu and Chris Gardener. I must say these people and their experiences have a way of moving you.
I have watched the birth of a baby girl in a small village in Kenema Sierra Leone and was awed by the presence and beginning of life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hopefully, once I have gone through this experience, I will be able to contribute more.
