COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few summers ago I was hosted by some lovely Portuguese folk who showed me some of their beautiful country.

I hitchhiked to Latvia whilst at University and people's generosity along the way made it one of the most memorable experiences I have. A Polish chap who was on his way back from England took us into his family home, fed and watered us and then took us to his returning party where bizarrely we were the highlight over a young man who had not seen his friends for over a two years.

Recently completing a marathon was one of the biggest tests I have ever faced and the sense of euphoria in achievement was amazing. Other than that getting circled by sharks whilst snorkeling in Sri Lanka was pretty cool.
