About Me

I'm 24, grew up in Nottingham, England (Robin Hood Country) and now live in Leeds (the best city in the UK outside of London).

I studied Philosophy and History at the University of Leeds, but went in to IT Sales when I graduated, now want to travel as much of the world as possible before thinking about a proper career.

I love talking to anyone, about anything, especially subjects I previously never knew anything about, so conversation is never a problem with me!

I've been lucky enough to travel around a lot of Europe, the US and South America and am currently pondering my next adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently trying to see as much of the world as possible, and what better way than with the help of a local?

Hoping to tap into the well of human kindness and meet as many interesting people as I go, repaying the favour when I'm back home in the UK.

Interests

I love reading, from Philosophy, Physics and Economics to Horror, Romance and Classics, there is literally nothing I won't read.

Sports are huge for me, teach me the rules and there are very few sports I don't think I would enjoy.

Music, Film and Comedy are other obsessions of mine, any pointers in the directions of the local versions of any of these would be hugely appreciated!

Music, Movies, and Books

A bit of a movie geek, particularly for films by Richard Linklater, Christopher Nolan, Richard Curtis and Quentin Tarantino. My favourite book is either 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' by Oscar Wilde or 'Charlotte Street' by Danny Wallace .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was named "Nottingham's fastest Santa" in a race of over 5000 people raising money for charity (If you hadn't guessed, all dressed as Santa).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully conversation and a good sense of humour, but I love trying and sharing new food or drinks, so promise to never arrive empty handed!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, United States, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom
