ABOUT ME

Hi :)
I'm Friederike, but everyone calls me Freddy (exept my mom when she's angry)
I'm 21 and I'm studying at Zurich University of Teacher Education (that means I'm becoming a primary-school teacher). When I was younger I travelled a lot with my parents to places like South Africa, USA, Thailand or Sweden, but for the last few years I went off by myself. I did my first big trip when I was 19 from Zurich to Vietnam - all by train, bus or ship. This had a huge impact on how I think of traveling and I still love remembering all those great memories.

I love playing fistball, meeting friends and, of course, traveling.

I'm a joyful, openminded person who loves to laugh. I'm very interested in other cultures and i love long talks and discussions.
Could be about politics, religion or life-situations, but also about things like "what's going on in a head of a cat when it stares at you out of its big weird eyes?".

I'm a vegetarian, but very easy going. So don't worry, I can live with the fact that your food shits on mine :P

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I still live at my parent's home, so if you want to visit me, you have to contact also my mom (Susanne Wilke). On her profile you can see how many people we can host and stuff like that.
I also participate sometimes in the activities of the Zürich-group.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My parents joined cs 5 years ago, so I met a lot of couchsurfers. The experiances were great. I had the chance to meet so many lovely, open minded people from many different countries all over the world. If I would follow all the nice invitations, I would have no time to do something else...
2 years ago, we started to have a guest book where all our couchsurfers write or draw in, the best idea ever!!

Summer 2013 i finally did my first big trip by myself. Had some awesome couchsurfing-experiances. i hope i can somehow give things back that the community gave me!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In South Africa, one of the most beautiful countries I've been yet, I had the chance to fly in a balloon... can't describe how magical it was!!

Schlieren is about 15 minutes away from wonderful Zürich. If you visit me, I can show you the best places there. You could also come with me in my training and learn how to play fistball, the best sport ever ;)
