Overview
About Me
Good vibes only.
Single and happy.
French American.
Entrepreneur.
Avid Skydiver Scubadiver Snowboarder Windsurfer Runner Writer Strategy enthusiast. Love open minds, bold spirits, subtle words, humble confidence, understated elegance and toned tattooed bodies. Enjoy inspiring conversations, playful moments and outrageous interactions.
I focus on the moment... 'which moment?' will you ask... This moment. This moment. This moment. Now. I am collecting good moments... And I have quite a collection. Be they a relaxed bicycle ride in Bishan Park, a strenuous run in MacRitchie, an inspiring conversation in a coffee shop, a relaxing detour by the library, a romantic evening sipping sangria and eating tapas, a loud night spent hopping clubs with friends, a sensual encounter in my bedroom, a scare I cannot share, or a laughable attempt at making a gratin dauphinois :)
I am both French and American, and currently live in Singapore - traveling regularly throughout South East Asia and to the US and Europe. I find San Francisco Bay Area, Lake Tahoe, Lyon and the Alps, and Bishan Park my havens (and heavens too).
I cherish peace, after encountering violence in many forms - a gun to my head among others, and quite a few knives under my throat... call it being in the wrong places at the right time... yet I do not shy away from confrontations and high stakes situations, since I am a crisis fixer and a coach. Both can coexist. And I love it.
I am quite energetic, with a lean and toned body. This is luck. I have practiced irregularly skydiving, scubadiving, freerunning, windsurfing, snowboarding and martial arts, in particular aikido, iaido, judo and kenpo for years. This is fun. I did not compete since I was a teenager, and even then I was not really great, but I reached healthy and enjoyable levels of proficiency. And I grew from it, which is what matters to me. I am not a fan of competition sports, but I like the deliberate practice. Winning the battle over yourself > winning an opponent. I did in '99-'00 60 days of snowboard in a season... Hmmm, no more. Recently, a little jogging, cycling, some stretching and gym are what I can afford time-wise.

Music, Movies, and Books
My all-time favorite book: Jonathan Livingstone Seagull
+ Books on the mind: Outliers, Blink, Talent is overrated, Mind that changes itself,
+ Heroic Fantasy novels: (not in a long while, but good memories) The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion, The saga of the dragons of Pern, The saga of EarthSea,
+ Meditations and inspirational books: Tich Nath Hanh's Touching Peace, Being Peace and the diamond sutra, The tales of Nasr Edin Hodja, Zen & Martial Arts, The Power of Now, I am That
+ Books focused on visual, written or oral communication: The back of the napkin, Slide:ology, Presentation zen,
+ Self-improvements books (business hazard): The 7 habits, Excuses begone, Getting things done, etc.
. I could be ashamed but... am not: Romantic comedies, from Van Wilder (yes, I know... "don't be a fool, stay at school"), to Notting Hill, Serendipity, Definitely Maybe, The Notebook, Love Actually, L'Etudiante (in French), Head Over Hills, A Boy-Girl Thing, 40 days and 40 nights, Boys And Girls, She's all that, 10 things I hate about you, etc. Yes. I know. They are over the top. They are not realistic... Well, they feel good :)
+ Inspiring movies, from Shawshank Redemption to Dead Poets Society, Good Will Hunting, The secret life of Walter Mitty, Finding Neverland, Invictus, Slumdog Millionaire, Baraka...
+ SF/Fantasy movies: Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Star Wars saga, Avatar, Prometheus, Interstellar, Star Trek (the latest one), Conan (the first one), Legend of the seeker, Terminator Sarah Connor chronicles, Firefly
+ I will admit enjoying kick-ass action movies when they don't take themselves too seriously, and when we are spared the gory details (hey, look, the guy is being slowly killed, isn't that "fun" WTF???!?!?!) from Star Trek (the latest one) to The Matrix (the first, I didn't get the other two) to Bourne saga, Nikita to ... yes... I admit... when I was younger, I liked Top Gun, okay, okay... I was young ("Take me to bed or lose me forever.")
+ Classical music: Handel's Water music, Peer Gynt, Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez, Copland's Fanfare for the common man, Mozart in general, Ravel's Bolero (which himself hated actually), Faure's Pavane for a dead princess, Chopin's Prelude in E-Minor (usually I don't like sad music, but Benjamin Zander convinced me)... ad libitum.
+ Symphonic/gothic rock: Nightwish's Nemo, While your lips are still red, Evanescence, The Fallen, The Gathering, Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation's Mother earth, Eluveitie, Epica...
+ 70's/hippie/progressive rock: Jefferson Airplane White Rabbit and Somebody to love, Deep Purple Child in time and highway star, Led Zeppelin stairway to heaven, The Black Crowes soul singing, she talks to angels, Primal Scream free, Pendragon's last man on earth, as good as gold
+ Industrial rock: VNV nation and the like...
+ Vocalists: female vocalists like Enya, Loreena McKennitt, sarah Brightman (come on: deliver Me? Time to say goodbye with Josh Groban?), Sarah MacLaclan, and pretty much all the singers going to Lilith Fair...
+ Folkloric medieval music: Faun, Braagas, etc.
+ "Soft" rock songs from rock and metal bands, from Estranged, Knocking on Heaven's door, November Rain, to Metallica's Nothing else matters,
- NOT Jazz (maybe smooth Jazz like Norah Jones and Diana Krall, but not the fusion stuff, I don't get it)
My favorite food was probably foie gras (don't ask, I am French), but now that I am essentially vegetarian, I can forget about it (even though the very writing of it makes me salivate). So I would have to go for raspberries, oranges, strawberries, cashews, and tomatoes :) Still, I will probably fall for the "mousse de truite" secret recipe of my Mom.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life / business coach.

- Collective performance and agility
- Speak French (or Anglish) with heurribel French accente (even zough I du note smeuke cigaretse)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I give a mean thai yoga massage... and caresses that will make you wake up the neighbour as you giggle or raise your hair and skin. I have received many compliments for how talented I am with certain things... And my mom was wrong: I shouldn't keep my tongue in my mouth.
Otherwise, I can also be pretty good company, as I am well traveled. If you like stories, we can exchange plenty late in the night. And if you are serious, I can offer personal or professional coaching. I can also bring (legal) things from Singapore. Help with the house... How about you tell me :)
