Hello ! My name's Fred, 26 yo and coming from France.
I'm currently working and travelling in Australia. I left my home country about 2 years ago. I've spent one year in New Zealand where I've been working and cycling all around the country. I arrived in Australia after that, and I've been here since a year now. My project is to cycle from Indonesia back to my home country ! In the meantime I'm working as a cabinet maker in Melbourne, and am planning of course to explore a bit of this huge country that is Australia.
Back home I'm a joiner/cabinet maker and enjoy any handcrafting projects (woodworking ofc, but also drawing, photography,...). Moreover I really like outdoor activities (climbing, hiking, skiing, running).
Finally what I appreciate the most is a good chat and learn about people and new things !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people and share a lovely experience with other people, over a good meal or a board game. It's so interesting to learn about other's life and point of views.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a lot of different styles of music, rock, jazz, classical, I'm open anything!
Regarding the movies, I really like the grand Budapest Hotel, into the Wild, Parasite, Past lives,... so hard to pick just one.
Same for books, I read Novels, Philosophical books,...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't done it yet, but I plan to bike from Indonesia to France !
