Hey, my name is Frederick, I just finished my bachelor’s degree in directing and now I’m feeling a little lost which is why I started to hitchhike through the world so I can find parts of myself I don’t know about me yet.
Earlier this year I hitchhiked through Sweden and Denmark with a friend and solo through Ireland (I made a movie about it which you can watch here: https://youtu.be/-dWyJy30JhQ ) and both was really exciting and insightful.

I’m passionate about talking to people and learning their philosophies and believes and I’m really into stories, mostly fiction but not exclusively, so if you know any movies, series, books, comics or video games, that’s an easy start and I’m always eager to learn about anything I don’t know.
Other than that I’m into pretty much everything as much as anybody as long as the vibe is good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Downloaded the app ages ago without really doing anything with it and now I entered a chapter in my life when it comes in handy again.
I’m looking for knowledge and opportunities to gain inside into lifes I’m not living.

Music, Movies, and Books

Electronic, soul, funk, pop, anything 2000s and mostly everything that sounds good to my ear (I know it’s a boring way to put it, but it’s true). Even if it's crazy hardcore music I’m normally not into.
If I connect a good time with it, there is no limit to what music I’m enjoying.
Every literature from Isaac Asimov and for my favourite movies I go with Arrival, Django Unchained and Reign of Fire.
Special mention goes to The Leftovers for making me cry every time I watch it.

I booked a flight and started hitchhiking through Ireland by myself.
