ABOUT ME

My name is Frederic, I am from France, Paris. I lived in the USA for 7 years and it has allowed me to meet people from all over the world. I have a bit of an accent when I speak English but it isn't too bad.

I love dancing Latin and Ballroom dances. Yet, in Paris the offers are more toward Salsa, Rock, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing (which is in development). In the other hand, ballroom dances, few are the places where to dance it, and they are not in Paris mainly.

People tell me that I am friendly, kind and generous, but mainly that I can be counted on if you need help.

I am open to meet people and do things with them whenever I can :)

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others like you would like them to treat you.
For myself, this means being kind to others.
Leave a place as you found it. This policy was taught to me after living in the USA in host families.

Even so I might not always have my best day, as anyone of us might since things happen. When I am with someone, I try to cheer up and spend a great time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have friend from all over the world and since I live in Paris, France they come visit me whenever they can. Some do it more than once, and some do it for their first time.

My goal is to make sure they see as much as possible of Paris and see how Paris looks like to me as a Parisian.
Which means, live the life as a Parisian :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my best friend staying over for two months with me. She loved it and had a great time. She went to the sea, Italy, England while she stayed. We went to Museums, dancing, bars, picnics, and many other things.

During the summer of 2014 I hosted a lot of people from CouchSurfing. The best experiences were with people who came to share and be opened to do a lot of things. What I found is that if the person who comes doesn't talk openly about everything that is going well or not, nothing goes well. Communication is essential to make your stay a great experience.

Comment for the girls: please make sure to clean after yourself. I don't mind that you stay an hour in it. Just make sure to not come out with the shower and sink with makeup all over the place and hair. Even so I will clean it. I would rather to find the bathroom as I left it :)

Interests

I literally LOVE TO DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a big fan of Salsa, Bachata.
I know how to dance Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Tango (American style), a bit Argentine Tango (rusty thought), Cha cha, Rumba, and many more dances :)
Ask, and I will tell you if I do or not.

I commute mainly by bicycle and know the city of Paris well due to that.

I am a geek and I like to watch Manga's here and there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am considerate by a lot of people surrounding me as a GPS. Due to the fact I bike a whole lot. I can find myself going through Paris and know where I am even in the new places that I never been.

After teaching, I would say definitively dancing.
I am always open to share and teach anyone who would like to learn how to dance :)
I will do my best to teach them ^^
