About Me

Hey everyone,
So here I am looking for a place to stay last minute before the flight and quickly arranging an updated couchsurfing profile just before I get back to packing my backpack. Sounds unorganized, but it's only one half of the story. The other half is that I don't see any reason why not to do these kind of things at the very last moment, meaning that I am kind of a laid-back guy and got waaay too much confidence in me working things out perfectly in the end. However, experience backs this but even though I still cannot bring myself to like this state where it is just before working out perfectly and one is still running around with a little voice in your head telling you that it won't. So yeah that's me or at least a part of me and besides I really love to savor life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well I did make some good experiences while visiting a friend in japan on the visitors site and I also had some great evenings with people from couchsurfing in my shared flat so I think there's nothing speaking against repeating such experiences.
I also strongly believe in locals and that a journey can be far richer in experiences when meeting some people living there because this is what at least I am also trying to get to know when traveling to a new place!

Music, Movies, and Books

I actually still like punk rock while being more interested in genre mixtures like for example french rap and ska at the moment. Apart from that I relish fantasy stuff as a place without borders of imagination.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In japan I managed to fulfill one of my childhood dreams by visiting an unused amusement park and climbing to the very top of a tropically overgrown wooden roller coaster where I let a paper glider fly away.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I relish eating and drinking and life in general and that's why I am considered a talented cook who's perfect at improvising and always looking for some new stuff to learn or to share! Apart from that I like to make music(guitar and percussion), when in the right mood. And as an intrigued biologist I know quite a bunch of stuff about life in general and am never too sleepy to stand up for a battle hardened discussion on gene technology!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, France, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Germany
