Overview
About Me
I value honesty and open communication and just generally being respectful and appreciating others. I like being open minded towards other ideas and outlooks on live and also try to be as non-judgemental as possible!
I'm an outgoing and open person. Social connections are important to me and I try to get to know people from different (sub)cultures. I enjoy conversations about politics, economics, international relations, movies, books... I like to stay up to date and form an opinion.
But I also don't need these conversations in a couchsurfing setting and just happy to meet people, spend some time, or also just help each other to stay somewhere! I didn't host people for a long time because I lived in many different places but finally got a flat on my own again and have some space for hosting you! If you want to visit, I enjoy hosting and will prepare food (if you want).
I like to explore new music and new places.
I'm into books and bookclubs, and definitely interested in book recommendations!
I work out regularly go running, rockclimbing, and enjoy travelling by bike in summer.
Recently I've been learning a bit of Arabic (Levantine) and would be happy to learn more!
I like doing things in nature. For example be in parks, forests, go foraging, camping etc.
I don't drink alcohol and currently not going to parties but I'm really active and like things like outdoorsy things, going to restaurants, cinema, hanging out in a park.. nice breakfast and bike ride to a café and lots of good conversations is the best life for me :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like travelling and meeting people and wanted to try this out, for practical reasons and also because I'm interested in human beings! It's just fun to meet new people and get a glimpse of someone else's life, be inspired, get a new perspective, and maybe stay in touch.

Advice on how to navigate the city and where to spend time
book and music recommendation
I don't want to dump knowledge on you but I do know a few things about international relations, a bit about history, and would say I'm fairly up to date with regards to political and social debates and always happy to talk.
I generally know quite a few things but it's a bit random. One thing I know a thing or two about is identifying edible mushrooms (no, not that kind of mushrooms) :)
..... well I can tell you about this city and german (sub)cultures in general of course!
