Hi everyone,

My name is Frederike, I am a spirited, sportive, cheerful, 23 year old girl from The Hague Netherlands. I love traveling! From september I will be traveling around the Vanuatu islands for 6 weeks in total. I am going to do a research study about the beautiful way the people live on Vanuatu island.

As a graduation assignment i need to do this research study. The subject of this study has been totally created by me and is based on my own fascinations and inspirations. I'd like to involve three main focusses which inspire me; these are culture, nature and mindfullness. This id like to combine in a research where I'll dive in another culture where they live their lifes in a different way. A way in which they live close to nature and where family, kindness, gratitude, spirituality, traditions and rituals are the key values in life.

By living on the island and interviewing and hanging out with local people I am hoping to experience this way of living from close by.
Id like to see in what way we could introduce some of these mentalities in our Western culture. Atm Europe And actually the whole Western world lives in a rush And everything is on a tight time schedual where everyone is valuing things which are in essence so unimportant. With this research I want to inspire people back home in Europe of a better and more relaxt way of living.

Vanuwatu seems like the perfect place for my research!
