Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting people from other places.
I believe that sharing culture is one of the best things in the world!

Interests

Languages:
I enjoy learning languages. I am a fluent speaker of danish, english and spanish. I try to do my best to keep improving my language skills as well as learning new. I did have german in school and it is my new goal to improve to a more fluent level.
Music:
I have played various instruments as a child and enjoy singing and listening to many types of music. I have recently been taking up guitar as it has been many years since I last played. I hope to keep up the motivation!
Nature:
I enjoy green, walks and the sound of trees, birds and the sea. There is not anything more beautiful on our earth than nature itself and I enjoy every single moment I spend in it. I love hiking and exploring in new areas. Sailing has been a life occupation as I lived by the sea my entire life. The ocean and the forest are my favorite hiding and escape places from the reality of my sometimes stressed life.
Culture:
Culture in form of any interesting differences or similarities between countries or people I find appealing, may this be language, food, dance, music, clothing, personalities, etc. It is always a pleasure being incorporated in cultural expersiences as well as engaging other people in them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy both music, movies and books. I would not say that I have any I would consider as my absolute favorite. I have books and movies, I do watch again and again. When it comes to music I go though periods where I change between different styles such as folk, jazz, classic, rock, electro swing and even good old 90s bubblegum pop. I would say it depends on the mood. However, I do enjoy musicals, let it be movies or going to the actual theater (preferably).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went abroad to live with a family in mexico who did not speak english and I did not speak spanish when I was 16 years old. Without this experience I would not be who I am today. I love Mexico and I feel like it is my second home.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company and conversationist, if wanted. I also happily show guests around the area or even help organise trips and travels to certain cultural areas.
