Hi, my name is Frédérique, and I am a Workaholic.

I come from the beautiful city of Québec, the French part of Canada.

Since I work hard all year long, my trips are my only escape and my only excuse to take some time off. I try to go as far away as I can to explore different cultures and scenery, and to come back as a better person (not that I am a bad person to begin with!). I love to try new things and meet new people.

I've travel a lot using hostels, Airbnb and couchsurfing, and to be honest, there is nothing like couchsurfing. Getting to experiment the city with people from the place is amazing. We don't feel like a simple tourist, but more like someone who's part of the city for a bit.
I've had the chance to host a little, and it is also an incredible experience to share with people from all around the world what you do in your everyday life.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have been on a volunteering trip in Cambodia to help two different Charities. We've built 25 houses in two days for 25 families who had nowhere to go. We've also built a Rainwater Catchment to give access to drinkable water for a whole town on Koh Rong Island.

As a Canadian, I can always try to explain what is a Canadian Winter, and then, a Canadian Summer. Weather is our main conversation topic to be honest.
I can also bring you some of the best Maple Syrup in the world, not kidding.
