About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Mission? Stepping out of my comfort zone
ABOUT ME
Graduated last year and have just come back from working as volunteer in Palestine/oPT/the West Bank, depending on your politics. Already cooking up next travel plan (hiking, Pacific Northwest America, as soon as can afford) while looking for a job - what'll it be, waitress or data entry? exciting times!
That difficult to describe personality stuff you actually want to know...confident meeting people, though when it comes to bookish v raver I tip the balance into the former. I like being silly.
PHILOSOPHY
The older I get, the more I think 'trust your instincts' is very wise for the reason that it's about being confident in your own decisions. Also, when I was on a bus in Rome running late getting to the airport for our flight home and my parents didn't buy a ticket like normal, something told me on this occasion they should. Minutes later a severe conductor steps on. Instinct!

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't watch much TV, so I probably won't get references relating to it. I don't look down on it at all, in fact I fully admit that i'm missing out on some great shows. I think maybe i'm just too fidgety for it and then every now and then get addicted to one rubbishy show. Show me the way to cultural pleasure please!
Music wise, I like some alternative rocky indie whatever people call it now days, like Arcade Fire, Rilo Kiley...some slow sweet bordering naff stuff like Joseph Arthur and Rosie Thomas.
But my real loves basically are classical (Pergolesi, Bach, Mozart and Purcell operas) and Dylan, all the way, every day.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visited a women's honeybee cooperative in the small village of Beit Ummar, Palestine and end up staying over in the home of incredibly well-travelled head of the Popular Committee who spent several years in prison and taught us how to throw stones the Palestinian way.
