ABOUT ME

We are a married couple with no kid at present. Simple people. Both of us enjoy art, food, travel, nature... not into late night parties and alcohol.

We may appear a little shy at first, but will warm up once we get to know you better. We have no problem getting along with people as we are easy-going and not fussy.

PHILOSOPHY

The meaning of LIFE is to be alive while living.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We benefitted from Couchsurfing when we backpacked in Asia and South America for 1 year during 2011-2012. With CS, we not only managed to stretch our trip through cost-saving on accommodation, we also met friendly and interesting fellow CSers who have shown us great kindness and generosity. Some of them became friends whom we still keep in touch with today.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far so good! We have positive experiences with almost all CSers that we have met so far.

兴趣

Fred:
Travelling, movies, cooking, shopping, reading, photography and watching Youtube. I sell some of my photographs and illustrations online too.

Irene:
I used to dance... a lot. Contemporary, ballet, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, salsa... I enjoyed them all, until my knees gave me problems and I can't dance anymore. That part of my life remains treasured memories.

Now, I am learning to create art, mainly drawing and digital painting. My favourite subject is people. You can see my some of my work here.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In 2011, both of us quitted our jobs to travel. Over a period of one year, we backpacked in 14 countries, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Japan, India, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Spain, where we witnessed the beauty of nature, learned about different cultures, tried exotic food, met wonderful people... It was a lifetime experience!
