About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Γνῶθι σεαυτόν

ABOUT ME

What should I say about myself? I am 24 and I would consider myself as an conspicuously optimistic humanist and philanthropist, because I am tremendously in love with life and with people all over the world.
Exploring the world of one's own accord isn't only a physically task for myself. More than the geographical exploration is the education of my heart.
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry an narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts [...]." (Mark Twain - The Innocents Abroad)

PHILOSOPHY

‟Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them.” (Henry David Thoreau - Civil Disobedience)

Interests

Try to explain colour to a blind person and try to explain traveling to someone who has never traveled before are very similar.

Since three years I am madly in love with hitchhiking as a mean of expressing myself they way I am and not what I try to be. I will keep drifting somewhere along the line because the line between two places is already the place where I exactly want to be.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

cycling to Iceland 2012:
I cycled with 3 friends of mine through the north of Denmark, Faroe Islands and ICELAND. I am not able to put the absolute beauty of this magical country called Iceland in any words.
numerous waterfalls, the weather is so various, the landscapes are so different and unique, rivers, water without end, the people are so welcoming and friendly.
For this trip I got inspired of the book 'Into The Wild'.

hitchhiking journey Cacausus/ Middle East 2014:
9000km through Georgia, Turkey, Armenia, Karabakh, Iran, Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar.
After 38 days in Iran I hichhiked 4000km back and forth through the Persian World. The craziest hichhiking experience ever. Nobody knows hichhiking, everbody wants to bring you to the bus station as long as you are not able to explain yourself in Farsi. :-)

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Oman, Poland, Qatar, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Vatican City State
