Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Working on Climate Change, soil and land degradation , specifically in places where land is degraded and as a consequence plenty of social conflicts such as poverty and violence, thus I do my best to make the planet better every day !
I grew up in a farm in the Colombian Andes so my experiences are more with natural environments and wachting changes of ecosystems makes me chose my profession so I can help them to preserve in a world where everyday we are more people demanding food and everything from the environment thus we need to protect them because we depend on them
I also give short speech’s about our necessity to take care of them
ABOUT ME
I have great interest to know as much places and people I can, I am an opend mind person
I care about nature I can learn from anybody but I also can teach from what I know and I can learn new things every day
We have only one life

and plenty from fiction to historical genres
I have read plenty of books some of the good ones I recommend are on my Pinterest (Fredy Neira) on “Books-libros” folder as well as some I wrote with colleagues about soil, land or climate change
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- working in land degradation by salinization in Colombia
- Traveling to some National Parks in USA
- Watching the Milky Way reflected on a lake in Algonquin park, Canada
- a night in Guatemala watching the Acatenango volcano erupting
- being in the Sierra Nevada del Cocuy
- working with soils and land degradation has been an opportunity to visit several beautiful non-touristic places
- planted more than 2000 native trees that helps wildlife and birds and continuing doing that as a retribution of what nature gives me everyday (food, air, water, and almost everything I have or I use)
- taking care of my mom’s little house on the Andes
