Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because when I travel I really want to experience a place for what it is, I want to meet local people, see what they see and do what they do.

I want to see what a real home in the city looks and feels like rather than spend my time entirely in hostels with other backpackers.

The Stone Roses, The Raveonettes, Psytrance,

Les Miserables remains the greatest novel I ever read, it's just beautiful and epic.

As an angry young man I devoured Camus & Sartre and as a spirited young man Kerouac so there is a definite French them here.

These days I prefer to read bits of psychology, the study of human society and behaviour and bits of lighter philosophy than the heavyweight stuff I read in my teens.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Only one? So I walked Nepal's Anna Purna circuit in a single week, led an organised tour of foreigners across Pakistan and drove a multi colored Tuk-Tuk across India.

Well I´m a qualified English teacher so I would be glad to help with that. I can also teach some guitar if you can get hold of one!

I am a very open and honest person and will share whatever I have of myself to share at any given moment.
