ABOUT ME

Me and my boyfriend Lukas are currently travelling through Europe and South America for about one year. We're hitchhiking so we never really know where we're gonna end up. That's also the reason why Couchsurfing is a bit difficult sometimes. We also have a tent with us but we love meeting new people and exchanging experiences with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed some couches in England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland, which was an amazing experience.

I also met people in Munich, showed them the city and had some drinks together.

Interests

Of course I do like travelling.
But since I studied geography and learned more about the impacts of our behaviour, I try to live and travel more sustainable. Couchsurfing, hitchhiking, dumbster diving and not flying is part of that.
Still, I think travelling is important to be and stay open minded, which is also part of being sustainable (in a social way).

Music: I like folk and indie. For example Mumford and Sons, Laura Marling, Johnny Flynn, Edward Sharpe, First Aid Kit (there are many more)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was amazed when I noticed how friendly people can be. I was all alone in Dublin and I lost my way at least a hundred times every day (Dublin is a big city!) And people seemed to notice that I'm lost even before I could ask somebody. That was really fascinating, they all cared for me even if I was a complete stranger.

If you like we can talk about different aspects of sustainability, I'm really interested in different opinions.
Of course we can speak German if you feel like :) I also love cooking, so if you want we can cook some (bavarian) dishes.
