Hi everyone!

My name is Sat. I grew up with two cultures (Indian-Sikh and English) and travelling showed me I had to find my own way neither east nor west. I’ve travelled around most countries in Europe, did the overland trail to India, a year backpacking around Australia, 8 months in Canada, the trans-sib through Russia and then onwards to Mongolia and China, a month in Morocco and Mauritania, Nepal, China and South Korea, hitchhiking from east to west across Canada, cycling the pacific coast highway in America from Canada to Mexico, and 4 months travelling around Mexico.

I’m still travelling, back on the road again. Usually I’m making my way in Europe teaching English and playing my hand-drum (agave) but sometimes staying and working at alternative-living communities.

I’m a non-smoker and tee-totaller.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To share the travelling life with like-minded people. To help others with knowledge and advice from many years of travelling around the world.
I’m more active on BeWelcome (https://www.bewelcome.org/members/drumroots) but I want to give Couchsurfing a try too :)

I can teach hand-drumming, the English language, and some North Indian cooking recipes, amongst other things - just ask.
I want to learn something new each day.
I can share everything I have, from the possessions in my pack to the knowledge gained from countless travel and life experiences.
