About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Try to become a better person everyday.

ABOUT ME

I live in Nanaimo right now. I'm very easy going and like to meet people from everywhere. I can hold conversations with people from every walk of life and thrive on it. My girlfriend is very friendly too. With enough notice I may be able to cook a nice meal. I have a small garden and a big bookshelf. I don't really like trying to describe myself in one paragraph so that's all I will say.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Would like to host and would like to surf. Really believe in this program. I am an avid hitch hiker when I travel so this is something similar but opening your home instead of your car.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a couple of Belgians! Was a great experience.

Interests

Reading, writing, music, guitar, food, gardening, movies, philosophy, people, and too many other things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything by Hemingway. The Road by Cormac McCarthy. 1984 by George Orwell.

John Frusciante, Bon Iver, Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Broken Social Scene, Matt Good, Sufjan Stevens, oh god too many more.

Good Will Hunting, I Heart Huckabies, Motor Cycle Diaries, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Lost In Translation and again, so many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking to the northen most point of my island was pretty spectacular. A five day trek there and back with bears, birds, mud and whales. Swimming with the whales almosted killed me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play guitar at a slightly above average level, and I could give a couple leasons in that to someone that was starting to learn. I am also an aspiring writer and would like to learn about that more if possible.
