When I'm at home, I enjoy cooking delicious vegetarian meals, reading novels on my balcony with a glass of wine, and watching films on Netflix. When I'm on the road, I enjoy meeting new people (especially if they teach me new things or enjoy debate as much as I do) and swimming in new places.

I'm currently reading The Unwomanly Face of War by Svetlana Alexeivich, translated into English by Pevear and Volokhonsky. Before that I finished The New Jim Crowe, Life's Work, and Between the World and Me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing thing I've seen: the stars in Hawaii, standing with my little brother on the edge of a cliff, looking out over the ocean. I've never seen stars that bright.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to share my love of board games, so if there's a board game cafe near you let's plan a trip while I'm staying with you. I've been practicing yoga and meditation off and on for several years and am always keen for company (and can even show you some new moves maybe, who knows!?).

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a thank you for hosting I can bake you delicious vegan goodies. I've gotten pretty good at those over the years... I'm always willing to lend a hand so if you need anything done around the house, we can do it together. Oh and I can also offer good conversation over tea late into the evening!
