ABOUT ME

I'm Luba Frog from Saint-Petersburg.
I'm an old Petersburg resident, traveling since 2004.
I use hitchhiking, I'm one of the leaders of the St. Petersburg hitchhiking club Guild of Masters of the Hitchhiking.
I practice competive hitchhiking, I participate in hitch-hiking race. I understand this topic and I like to talk about it.
I'm long-time propagandist of independent travel in general and hitchhiking travel in particular.
I'm engaged in the organization of lectures about different countries. I twice organized the House for Everyone, in Yerevan (Armenia) and Derbent (Russian Federation, Dagestan).

I try to live actively, to chang my life for the better.
I periodically host people.
By education I am a historian and do not regret it.
I love our wourld, sun and life.

PHILOSOPHY

I think of people well and act accordingly.
Life must be active and meaningful.
Every person is the creator of his life.
Life is an interesting thing! :))

Я питерский старожил, путешествую с 2004 года, езжу автостопом, являюсь одним из лидеров питерского автостопного клуба Гильдия Мастеров автостопа (https://vk.com/gmautostop).
Практикую спортивный автостоп, участвую в автостопных гонках. Разбираюсь в этой теме и люблю об этом поговорить.
Многолетний пропагандист самостоятельных путешествий вообще и автостопных перемещений в частности.
Периодически читаю лекции и веду беседы на эту тему.
Занимаюсь организацией страноведческих "Лекций на Дебаркадере" (https://vk.com/debarcaderspb).
Дважды организовывала Дома для Всех - в Ереване (Армения) в 2014 году и в Дербенте (РФ, Дагестан) в 2017 году.
Время от времени вписываю людей в Питере.
По образованию я историк и не жалею об этом.
Стараюсь жить активно, осознанно и осмысленно.
Коллекционирую фигурки лягушек из всех мыслимых и немыслимых материалов. Сейчас моя коллекция насчитывает около 400 экземпляров.
Люблю солнце и жизнь.

Я не принимаю людей, которым необходимо только переночевать.
Для этого есть хостелы.
А каучсерфинг - для общения.
Если вы хотите остановиться у меня, то это означает, что вы готовы проводить вместе время: иногда гулять, иногда готовить еду, разговаривать, играть в настолки и т.д.

I hosted and I surfed.
I travel and meet new people.
And I try to help people who are on the road.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my hosts and surfers were great!
It was a very interesting experience.

My hosting record in Saint-Petersburg is 7 ppl in one room, from 5 cities and 2 countries. It was really funny.

Me and my husband Misha organized The House for Everyone for two times.
This is a special project for the traveling people, allowing them to explore various interesting country and get to know each other.
Our first The House for Everyone was opened in Yerevan, Armenia in the summer of 2014, functioned for two months and hosted 146 travellers from 24 countries.
Our second The House for Everyone was opened in Derbent, Republik Dagestan, Russia in the summer of 2017, functioned for five months and hosted 207 travellers from 18 countries.
