Overview
About Me
I live in Oakland, California, and run a small creative agency that exclusively serves nonprofits. Check it out at http://creativeforthepeople.org. Love to travel and love to host, but I currently live in a 200 square foot shoebox. If you really need a place and you want to sleep in between my fridge and my stove, you're welcome to it, but I definitely don't have a couch right now.
I'm doing my best to live life deliberately, while learning as much as possible through every available experience. Above all I believe in kindness defined as the practice of doing good things for others without hope of reward or fear of punishment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've hosted and surfed many times over the last decade, and all have been fantastic experiences. I want to keep supporting and being supported by this community!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sun rise over Volcan Tajamulco in Guatemala, Lake of the Clouds (The deepest point of Carlsbad Caverns), A child experiencing and enjoying nature for the first time, An adult being so kind I wondered if they were human (they were!).
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to be a plumber so I'm good with pipes. I'm pretty outdoorsy, and a decent Kayaker and Caver. I'm pretty good at drawing logos and building websites and shooting/editing films.
As for what I want to learn? Everything! Especially skills and languages.
