I'm an 22 year old guy with a passion for people, travelling and technology! I grew up in Amersfoort (a smaller city in the centre of The Netherlands) but realised I wanted to go to the bigger city. Next was Amsterdam and now I'm living in Berlin!

The 2 spots I travel often to are Amsterdam (second home) and the West Coast (SF/LA). I would love to travel more often to other spots too!
My first big journey was when I was allowed to travel all alone to the USA when I was 16. I met so many wonderful people and did some amazing things. It inspired me to meet even more people and travel more often. Hence the Couchsurfing profile!

I work as a digital strategist at a Berlin based creative agency. Every day I try to combine creativity and technology to build new things :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all because it is a great way to meet interesting and diverse people. I enjoy learning about different cultures and stories of people. It's always a little scary to meet new people but that's simply because often awesome things are awaiting in the future.
Next to that I love sharing stories and interesting spots in Berlin, there are a lot! Message me if you need a place to drink a cup of tea (or beer) or eat some awesome food!

At last I'm happy to share my apartment, it's not super big but there is always space for someone! Just send me a message and I might be able to help you out.

Interests

I am a big fan of music, it is a strange month if I haven't been to at least 1 concert. I love how it brings people together and you can just let yourself go!

And travelling, simply because the world is too big to not explore! So many places that are so unique and bring something a person's personality.

I also really enjoy technology but not only the nerdy part. I love the impact it can make and how it can connect people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling alone to the USA when I was just 16 and actually not dying! It was scary at first but my parents agreed so yeah, why not.

I met so many awesome people, spend way too many hours lost at some place but finding my way back eventually. The last train back home was often my friend.

I ended up going to Burning Man as people said it is an epic things. There I went and they couldn't be more right. My first burn was really a life changing moment for me!
