About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Become a sovereign, self-sustaining artist/individual. Never to cast a solitary shadow for too long.

ABOUT ME

I've been bouncing around the USA quite a bit in the last 10 years. Currently, I'm embarking on a zig-zaggy motorcycle trip with one of my favorite people, Catherine. We're moving out to LA (a entirely new city for myself) and plan on making a very memorable experience out of the journey. We're prepared to and plan on camping for most of our stops but it would also be great to meet as many new and interesting and encouraging people along the route. Who knows...a free motorcycle ride might even be in the cards for some lucky daredevils. I've heard nothing but great stories from my friends that have taken full advantage of this site currently and in the past. I'm really looking forward to including as many new people in our trek as possible!

PHILOSOPHY

CON GUSTO! fun and discourse.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Catherine used to host people through this website in her art studio in Los Angeles.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to this website but am very familiar with the potential generosity and curiosity of people. I've hosted plenty of friends and friends of friends at my various residencies and have always been lucky enough to have them be great guests.

Music, Movies, and Books

just finished "The Naked Ape" (book). Henry Miller was always a fascinating personality to absorb myself into when I was a bit younger. Catherine is a huge sci-fi literature fan. "Stranger in a Strange Land" and "The Stars are my Destination" are two that she shared with me that I absolutely couldn't put down.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tornadoes have a way of sticking in your memory.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Always keep your sense of humor!" was one from my little boyhood that seems to maintain a pertinent resonance throughout my life so far in.
Catherine and I are bringing with us a combined artistic force that could only be vaguely compared to the force of a prehistoric glacier. Only more pure and more powerful! And more painty.
