About Me

GENERAL INFORMATION:
•I'm neurodivergent and on the Autism Spectrum, with A.D.H.D., Severe Anxiety, and C-P.T.S.D. I do pretty well at staying optimistic even when I'm morbidly depressed.

•I recieve disability benefits; per their requirements, if I work more than 20 hours a week I am at risk of losing all my benefits, including health insurance. That said, I would absolutely find work once I knew where I'd be staying. I have a Driver's License, but no vehicle currently, so getting a job now would be pointless since I won't be in any one place for long and don't have transportation to begin with. I would be more than happy to babysit or petsit on the side, as well as setting up with my guitar to busk ("busking" is what they call performing music on the streets) for some extra cash, as well as the fact that (hopefully soon) I'll be working as a Bartender.

•AFAB, She/They pronouns

•I'd absolutely be friends with a roommate - in fact, I'd prefer that - but I do tend to be rather introverted, as well as shy and awkward at first. I don't like feeling as if I'm in the way or a burden.

•I prefer clean, tidy, organized spaces, but I'm not really a stickler about it. My main concern in that regard is my cat that has Pica (a condition where he actively seeks out things that could be harmful and tries to eat them; his go-to is usually some form of plastic). As long as they won't get into things that could make them sick, we should be fine. :)

•Speaking of, pets are great! I have two (well-behaved) cats, although I can only vouch for their experience with dogs (with which they're fine; at most they may just need a week or so to adjust to the new fur-person). Ireland is a female ginger tabby with green eyes who suffered severe abuse before me and still shows signs of PTSD (mostly only towards males), but has really come out of her she'll since I've had her, and she'll do anything for love and affection. BatCat is a lil' black butterball with Pica, Generalized Anxiety and Severe Separation Anxiety that doesn't trust easily - even friends of mine that he's known for years - but is also the most shy and docile cat I've ever known, and a very vocal source of comic relief once he warms up to you.

•I'm non-judgemental and free spirited.

•I'm a vocalist and lyricist, have a guitar, and love music. so jam sessions sound great.

•I do believe in "a Higher Power," (although I'm not religious, personally) but I don't force my beliefs on anyone else and feel that everyone deserves that same respect.

•A total dweeb; love Harry Potter (Ravenclaw, here!) Reading, crafts, some casual gaming (PC, Console, Handheld, whatever!), Cards Against Humanity is AMAZING! M.T.G., primarily Commander. Anime/Manga. Supernatural, Charmed, Doctor Who (no spoilers, I haven't even finished Capaldi yet!), and Sherlock, are among my favorite shows of all time.

•I also love nature, and adventure!!! (I'm a Thunderbird at Ilvermorny, also in the Harry Potter Universe. "Thunderbird favors adventurers, and is said to represent the soul of a witch or wizard." Told you I'm a dweeb.)

•I'm a night owl, nature lover, witch; I love my dreams and peace and solitude, but also community and compassion and kinship.

•I'm quitting tobacco using a vape.

•I love Karaoke! While I do enjoy the occasional casual or social drink, my tolerance is rather high (I blame it on my Irish roots!). I really only go out to drink if there's Karaoke involved, and let's be real: bar prices are outrageous!

•Weed is a yes, I smoke. I'm also cool with psychedelics.

• I plan on moving back to Denver, Colorado, once some things are settled. I'm uncertain of the timeframe due to health issues.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently, I'm hoping to find a couch for me and my cats.
...Kind of.
......Maybe a fellow, preferably female, hippy/traveler willing to get together and be chill stoner roommates for a few months?!

Here's what I'm thinking...:

So, I got approved for my ABC Server Permit and paid for an online Bartending course. If I can get a job as a bartender, I can make bank. I know me. (It's also a loophole; SSI & SSDI make it damned near impossible to get out from under their thumbs, and their regulations are ridiculous...) Anyway, my living situation is a bit unsteady right now, and when I applied, I was staying somewhere that had manageable bus routes to and from downtown Nashville. Unfortunately, where I'm currently crashing has essentially zero access to Nashville nightlife. So, I need something closer to downtown, but between the nightmare costs of living and the haughty attitude of most people that look for "roommates" as if they're still in University looking for their sorority... 🙄

I thought, why not see if any fellow stoner, hippy, grungy, dirty, freaks like me might want to get together on a temporary spot like this. I work towards my goals, you work towards yours, we all pitch in to get a roof and showers and sh!t for a while, and when we're done we all go our separate ways.

The basics apply, no bugs, no hard drugs, clean up after yourself, find ways to contribute, "don't be a sh!thead" as I saw it stated once.

I'm not sure if this will interest any of you, but hopefully it does. If so, I hope we're able to get something going with this. Don't hesitate to contact me. :')

In the future (hopefully nearer rather than farther), once I get a vehicle I will start to see more of this land. I've been many places already and am looking forward to seeing much, much more. Eventually, I will be traveling the world, as well. I look forward to utilizing this platform in years to come.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music variety is widely varied; movies: comedies, fantasy/adventure, horror; books: fantasy/adventure, horror, some informational; but for all of it the key point is that it has to grab and keep my interest. I'm also a huge Potterhead.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's a bit tricky, I'm very blessed in the fact that I have had many amazing experiences in my life. I went on a cruise to Bermuda when I was young, (through the Triangle, during Hurricane season - my father only got them because they were cheap; I'm thankful I survived! x'D ) The pink sand when we got there was pretty cool. I've been up in a helicopter once, that was fun. Overall, though, I'd have to say my favorite was when I visited Acapulco, Mexico when I was 13. The beach was so relaxing, the sunsets were gorgeous, and there was a zoo that had dolphins that you could swim with. I got to swim with them (there were two), and the last "trick"they did was pushing me up and through the water with their snouts on the bottom of my feet. It was so freeing - I felt like I was flying (except of course my belly was wet)! ;3

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can do dishes and other household chores, or help with "handyman" tasks.

I'm in the process of reapplying for Food Stamps (but we all know how the US Gvn't is... 🙄).

My music in general, but if there's a place I can busk (play music on a street), I can bring in a bit of money that way.

Stories, jokes, some random facts, Cards Against Humanity, Magic: The Gathering... General Good Company.
