i want to explore the world! i think other cultures have so much to offer and i want to learn about them. and i want to have fun and laugh all the time. and learn as many languages as possible

ABOUT ME

i'm pretty easy to please as far as finding activities to participate in, as long as i'm with fun people, people who have a sense of humor and like to laugh! i can be mellow at times and then other times i like to be crazy. i can be pretty shy when i first meet someone, but once i get to know you, i'm loud and laugh a lot and make corny jokes. i love languages, philosophical and religious discussion (as long as you are NOT close minded), i love to sing and play the piano, i like learning new things, science and math are two of my interests. and i'm a huge dork :)

there are a couple movie quotes that i really like, and i think they fit in with my personal philosophy:

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i signed up in 2010 and have sent out requests, but as of yet, no one's been able to host me! :( i usually end up staying in hostels and meet cool people there, but i'd like to meet people this way as well!

Interests

i already said some of it: languages, music - especially piano and singing, science, math, crosswords, animals, religion, philosophy, sudoku, sushi, eating, wine, movies, sleeping (because i like to dream), trying/learning new things, laughing, swimming, sailing, traveling, anime, dancing, spongebob squarepants (that show cracks me up!), computers, reading, museums, aquariums, the zoo, art, poetry... i like a myriad of things!

Music, Movies, and Books

my favorite movies are horror and comedy. my favorite music is everything! except maybe polka. or reggae. but there is something in every genre that i can enjoy. favorite books are fantasy, comedy, suspense/thrillers and science fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i am in love with italy. i've been there twice now, rome and orbetello, and i love the people, the atmosphere, and the landscape. the colloseum, even though it's cliché and touristy, still takes my breath away. and i was also able to visit the sagrada familia in barcelona, and the detail was so exquisite my neck hurt from looking up for so long!
