About Me

CURRENT MISSION: To give back to the Earth and live a sustainable lifestyle; to connect with others and share knowledge, laughter and kindness; to continue to travel, learn and grow and eventually build a healing permaculture community to host fellow wanderers and tribe.

ABOUT ME
My heart will always be in Wisconsin where I am from, but my airy spirit takes me where the wind flows. I have lived everywhere from the canyons of Colorado, to the sands of San Diego, and worked numerous high seasons in Central America as a yoga teacher, chef/server hiking guide and farm gal. My latest place of residence was the Big Island of Hawaii where I was a guide and a wellness coordinator for a Horticulture Therapy program for at-risk youth and young adults. My passions have led me to earn my power yoga and permaculture certification as well as an Advanced Padi diving license. I have dabbled in many things such as: massage, writing, and amateur photography, "sailor," etc... I enjoy good, real, and especially local food and being creative and resourceful in the kitchen. I have studied viticulture, coffee and cacao (grow/ produce) and ran a microbrewery in SD. I love music and dancing, and any outdoor activities especially hiking and ocean frolicking!

PHILOSOPHY
“I hope you will go out and let stories, that is life, happen to you, and that you will work with these stories from your life–not someone else’s life–water them with your blood and tears and your laughter till they bloom, till you yourself burst into bloom. That is the work. The only work.”

-Clarissa Estes...Women who run with Wolves

"Be the change you see in the world" -Ghandi

"Cast your spell on everyone you meet. " - A woman I met on a river bank in Utah

"In my life, each instance of holding nothing back is a teacher. In the realm of the body, I keep learning how to give my all in order to land in a stream of grace. In the realm of the mind, I keep learning how to break the hardened province of my little world in order to humbly join the Universe. In the realm of the heart, I keep learning that perceiving and expressing is a sacred aerobic that keeps my emotional center healthy and clean. And in the realm of spirit, I keep learning that surrendering all my dreams and wounds and personal histories, no matter how briefly, allows the fragrance of my soul to renew my sense of life as an unrepeatable mystery."
—The Exquisite Risk
