HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a wanderer by nature and have always been apt to meander off for a few days, always keeping my backpack stocked with basic necessities. It has been a year since I had my own place with my GF at the time. She moved to Oakland because she grew up there so I stayed at my parents for a bit, went down there and stayed with her a bit and with random friends I made while scoping out the area, ran out of money completely and journeyed back to my home town, spent some time living outside in a lovely canyon but once again am crashing at my parents' for the holidays and while a save up some money and meet new people and dream up new adventures. Will you be part of my next adventure? :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hmm, see above. A fair amount of my life has been sleeping on couches and hiking/camping, festivals, meditation retreats, school, etc with a wonderful family who always are happy to have me come hang out at "home base" for a while when in a lurch. Usually I only bother getting a place if I am in a relationship and we want to live together.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have seen the storm roll in over the sea in the silent perfection of a Mo'orrean night (little island off of Tahiti), scuba dived with sharks, skydived, loved deeply, touched samadhi in layla yoga, spent time at a vipassana buddhist commune, climbed Smith Rock, explored some tight spots while spelunking, climbed the spires of Gaudi's Familia Sagrada (sp?) in spain, but I'm out of time now so that's it.

I'll teach you the guitar, yoga, meditation, magick, song-writing, the finer points of random misadventure, being a psychology major and having dealt with my own issues has made me very good at helping people through emotional issues, I've moderated at an international drug safety forum so between that and my research in school I know more than the average bear about drugs (please don't take this to mean I'm some homeless junkie, all drugs I currently take are prescribed), or I can teach drawing or bass, keyboard/piano, ukelele, or likely figure out any instrument you have around that's been waiting to get used. I have a knack for music. I know a bit about self defense from periodically taking a mixed martial arts class so I could show you some simple jujuistu techniques which are always good to know, especially for a girl in my opinion, but perhaps that some sort of chivalry.

I'm open to learning everything. I'd love to learn massage, but that may be a weird thing for most people to try with a stranger. I'd love to learn about math because it has always been my Achilles heel (I think long division was what did me in lol). I'm very interested in self-sufficient living and wild edibles and such so that high on my list.
