I am new to Couchsurfing.
I guess I am more a quiet type (and have my shy moments), yet I do have my outgoing moments as well :-)...
I love to be in nature, listening to the trees, the oceans, mountains... and I love to move: Yoga, Dance (barefoot boogie and similiar), hiking, biking, kayaking, ....
Meditating is one of the greatest gifts for me.
For quite some years I am learning and practicing nonviolent communication, a revelation to me! Still learning, but it's a path I find great rewards in going...
My interest is in learning about people and their quests, beyond the usual judgements of "this is good or bad".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been traveling a lot around the world by myself. Lately I got tired of staying in hostels or bnb's. Missing real connection beyond the usual "where you come from, where you got to" conversations.
I love to learn about a culture and about people through the eyes of a native. What does he/she really care about, what is important to him/her...?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I notice that the "outside wonders" of new experiences are coming form internal changes of my point of view, daring to go for something new, while respecting the internal voice that is asking for careful steps...
So what am I trying to say? The amazing visible things in the outside world for me come from internal change, new perspectives, new adventures...
I once did a skydive... that was a challenge, and an expression of my quest for experiencing me differently...
