Hi, I'm Florian, a German open-minded guy with a lot of interests. On the one side I'm working as programmer for a big international company, and on the other side I really like creative stuff like designing wooden pens and building own furniture.
After working and studying hard in the last years, I decided to take some time off and visit my girlfriend in Japan. For that my company gave me one year of holiday. Now (October 2017) I'm packing all my stuff and preparing for a new adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine told me about couchsurfing so I tried it.. Since then I love it and even if I don't have much holiday, I can get holiday to me, by hosting travellers. They always have interesting stories and I can forget everyday life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 17 I finished school and moved to Frankfurt. I started my "dual studies". That means I studied (B.A. Business Administration), made a vocational training (IT Specialist - Programmer) and I worked at the same time. In 2017 I finished all this and my company gave me the chance to take one year off and then come back to my old job.

I love to cook. So if you want I can teach you to make some good meals.
I'm totally open to other cultures and want to learn more about them. Sometimes it's hard for me to get out of myself, because I can be a little bit shy, but if I feel comfortable with a person you definitely won't recognise this.
